Mt. Daguldol, Its Pinnacle is So Cool

Fantastic and mystic mist shrouds the surroundings of our campsite in the morning of our tryst at Mt. Daguldol, February 15-16, 2014 D aguldol in Bicol dialect means the rustling and rushing sound of an upcoming strong rain.  In Tagalog, though it is not a common jargon, it simply means heavy rain. Daguldol (LLA: 13°40.380N 121°19.160E, 672 MASL (+ 672 m)) located in San Juan, Batangas, Philippines is known as one of the mountains near Manila which according to some locales, got its name because of the usual raining on its summit. Magkaugnay and Friends, a group of greenhorn mountaineers visited the mountain as post Valentine fun climb last February 15 and 16, 2014. Bergado is an enormous teacher, embracing friend, enduring mentor and enthusiastic division education supervisor who possesses one of those rare minds that can express profound thoughts which she always turn into credible action and brilliant outcomes. I met her in 2004 when she was just an understudy of the former officer-in-charge in educational media in the Division of Cavite. Carmona grabs CarSiGMA Meet over-all championship

SILANG, Cavite. The District of Carmona was declared over-all champion in the recently concluded CarSiGMA  (Carmona, Silang, Gen. Mariano Alvarez) or the East Cavite Sports Unit (ECSU) Meet which was held in Silang Central School, Oct. 29-30. Carmona garnered a total of 235 points from the different sport events being competed like athletics, gymnastics, swimming, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis, baseball, basketball, football, softball, volleyball, chess, sipa and taekwondo. Runners-up were the district of Silang 2, first runner-up, 177 points; Silang 1, second runner-up, 173 points and GMA, third runner-up with 88 points collected. Carmona’s muse was also adjudged Miss CarSiGMA Meet during the selection after the event’s opening ceremonies. Earthquake Drill at Maduya Elementary School

I n consonance with the guidelines on the conduct of National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, Maduya Elementary School conducted the earthquake drill, March 1, 2012, which was participated in by the teachers and pupils from Kindergarten to Grade 6. S ince earthquake is an unexpected event and disastrous, everyone must be ready for it everyday and every hour to avoid or lessen the loss of life and more harm to humans. T his endeavor which was spearheaded by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) particularly Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) was done simultaneously all over the country. I n Maduya Elementary School , the Science teachers together with the principal conducted some lectures to the pupils during the flag ceremonies about the earthquake and the guidelines the pupils should follow if earthquake occurs.
