Carmona grabs CarSiGMA Meet over-all championship


SILANG, Cavite. The District of Carmona was declared over-all champion in the recently concluded CarSiGMA  (Carmona, Silang, Gen. Mariano Alvarez) or the East Cavite Sports Unit (ECSU) Meet which was held in Silang Central School, Oct. 29-30.



Carmona garnered a total of 235 points from the different sport events being competed like athletics, gymnastics, swimming, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis, baseball, basketball, football, softball, volleyball, chess, sipa and taekwondo. Runners-up were the district of Silang 2, first runner-up, 177 points; Silang 1, second runner-up, 173 points and GMA, third runner-up with 88 points collected.
Carmona’s muse was also adjudged Miss CarSiGMA Meet during the selection after the event’s opening ceremonies. Because of this she will represent ECSU during the Provincial Meet to be held in Imus, Cavite on November 29 up to December 2, 2012.

Meanwhile, Fifth District Cavite Representative Roy M. Loyola graced the opening ceremonies of the event and expressed his support to this kind of activity. Carmona Mayor Dahlia A. Loyola together with Vice Mayor Cezar N. Ines and the Sangguniang Bayan members was also with the Carmona delegation during the parade and also graced the opening program.

Carmona district is being headed by Dr. Editha M. Atendido, the district supervisor and the district key principal in-charge of PESS or Physical Education and School Sports is Mr. Noel S. Ortega.

MADES' Ang Grinfilds, champion best school paper in CALABARZON

O ur school organ in Filipino, Ang Grinfilds truly made us blissful and ecstatic during the Regional Schools Press Conference Group Contest Awarding Day held at Lucena West 1 Central school, Lucena City last Feb 3, 2012  for winning as FIRST PLACE, BEST SCHOOL PAPER, Filipino category in Region IV-A CALABARZON for gaining the victories in the following: Second Place, Sports Page; Fourth Place, Newspage; Fourth Place, Ediitorial Page and Sixth in Layout Design.  O n the other hand, our school paper in English, The Greenfields , won First Place in Layout Design.   I and our school paper advisers Mrs. Mariquit Bayas and Ms. Arreane Mamauag would like to express our deepest thanks to all the people who have inspired us in making this "masterpiece". Speech of a New Principal

This event is both historical and spectacular in my life. This is something first, something new and something different to me as an educator. I am glad that all Maduya ES teachers are gathered at this special event of my life. I am glad that they are part of my first bite as a principal. I am glad that I will spend my new role as a leader at Maduya Elementary School and more delightedly in Carmona, Cavite . I don’t like to talk too much at this moment but I feel it is a requisite to a new leader to tell something of him, and so I’m here to express my feelings and I am sorry for being too idealist and somewhat vulnerable.
